Anti-Grab Case Studies

Overview

Four of the leading UK supermarket multiples together with a leading DIY retailer use Cash Bases drawers with Anti-Grab note covers as standard.

 

Study 1

A major supermarket multiple was experiencing regular till snatches from ‘Till No 1’ i.e. the one nearest the door.

They fitted these tills with Cash Bases Anti-grab note covers and were successful in significantly reducing snatches and improving operator safety on ‘Till 1’. However, the thieves worked this out and started to target ‘Till 2’. As a result, the company retro-fitted covers to ‘Till 2’ in all stores, only to find the thieves moving to till number 3.

Where covers were fitted, the reduction in theft was so dramatic that the organisation fitted all cash drawers with Anti-grab note covers and they are now supplied as standard on all drawers.
