One of the leading supermarket multiples, for whom the concept was originally designed, has used drawers fitted with Anti-grab note covers as standard fit for the past 8 years and believes that they make a significant improvement to operator safety.

Originally the covers were glued in but these were vulnerable to being removed. Subsequent drawers are delivered, pre-fitted, with integral, hinged covers and the number of attacks on operators has been reduced to such an extent that the organisation claims its checkout staff will not work on tills without anti-grab covers.
